The 748 is the most fun to ride of all the 748/916/996 series. The light steering and usable power make it a delight to ride quickly without scaring the crap out of you or risking jail.

 A pristine 748 that is unmodified from original condition is hard to find nowadays. With only 11K miles on the odometer, this 748 is a strong runner and the handling is still crisp. The mechanicals are in good condition and all the systems work - lights, horn, stop light, indicator lamps, instruments, etc. No leaks or loud noises. See a video of the bike running HERE

 This 1999 Ducati 748 is the first year of the updated electrical system with the 520W alternator, which eliminates an earlier model weakness. This was the last year of the adjustable steering head for the standard model (same as the 916/996).

 Service wise, it has had a recent oil change, new gold drive chain, new clutch, air box seal and a fresh battery. The tires are in good condition (Michelin Pilots) and the brakes are strong. I set up the suspension for quick steering.

 I have a clear title in my name and current CA registration/insurance. The bike is ridden so the actual mileage may be slightly different than shown.
